During a town hall forum in Illinois, a farmer asked President Barack Obama about the effect of noise and dust rules on people such as himself. Obama told the man to call the Agriculture Department. Politico reporter M.J. Lee decided to see what would happen if the man took the president's advice. Over the next two days, Lee got bounced from department to department, agency to agency, from the federal government to the state government and even once to the non-government Illinois Farm Bureau. No one was able to answer the farmer's questions.
