A Rosebud, Texas, police officer has been fired for working outside city limits. The officer, who wasn't named in press reports, was trying to remove a sign on private property outside city limits warning drivers Rosebud is a speed trap and got into a confrontation with one of the people who put it up. Police Chief Kenneth Proctor said the officer had been warned in the past about working outside city limits.
