Michigan may have made some $2 million in Medicaid payments over the past two years to dead people or for the care of people who were dead at the time they allegedly received treatment. That's just one finding of a recent state audit. The audit found that the Department of Community Health can't properly account for around $4.4 billion it spent in that period.
