The family of Lt. Col. Billy Hall, who was killed in Iraq, gave the media permission to cover his funeral at Arlington National Cemetery. The military had other ideas. They held journalists 50 yards from the service, far enough away to keep them from hearing any of it. The Washington Post's Dana Milbank reports that is standard practice at Arlington, even when the family wants media coverage.
