Bang the Drum Softly
When a seven-year-old boy in Paul Provencio's music class hit his drums to hard, the Carmen Trails Elementary School teacher knew just what to do. He told the boy to hit himself on the head as hard as he could with a couple of hard drum mallets. Officials at the Parkway, Missouri, school district say Provencio will not return to the school next fall.
