The Afghan government has agreed to recreate the religious police that patrolled the streets during the rule of the Taliban. That follows a crack down on the sale and possession of alcoholic beverages, which are illegal in the country. During sweep in Kabul, they destroyed 3,000 cans of beer and 630 bottles of other alcoholic drinks.
