$200/wk (ex-housing)? In Wash, DC?

Really?

I surely live in the "taint" of America! (Ohio!- Just South of the "asshole of America"-(Michigan)- and just North of the American "genetic re-inforcement experiments" (Kentucky, Tennessee, W. Va., etc.).

But, still...

At $200/wk, I can only hope she has "pole skills"....

Reminder to candidates from the real USA: the Reason offices (and possibly your housing) are located in a $500 fine per round zone. The gun posession laws are pretty strict too (unless you are on the Senate Staff of Reason's favorite VA Democrat).

Just a reminder.

If the intern is an attractive female, we need to keep Warren away from any and all Internets for the duration of her stay. It would be very counterproductive to The Cause if we send an idealistic young libertarian screaming into the arms of the Socialists.

Hey Josef I go to Reason events all the time in search of a fellow (or even sister!) faggot for fun and frolic and unfortunately the homosexuals are woefully underrepresented even though these events are always near queer Dupont Circle. It is definitely gray, not gay. Though they may be gray-friendly. Senior editor Matt Welch and his lovely wife are even even in a family way right now.

Hello everyone!

This is an informal meet and greet event to introduce myself to all the Beltway Libertarians. I'm the new Volunteer Coordinator and would really like to get to know everybody that's interested in being a part of our plans for the future.

Everyone is welcome!

Of course I would have to move the library out of it

some guy | March 19, 2008, 9:59pm | #

Still waiting...Oh, I have to actually apply? That seems like a lot of effort. Easier to post lazy snarky comments here, where we're all anonymous crackpot stars. And we don't have to relocate to hell.

Bruce Majors | March 19, 2008, 10:43pm | #

Reason's offices are hardly in hell. On the same side of the same block they are on there are 3 restaurants, a spa, and a sex toy shop, and across the street there are at least four more decent restaurants and another sex toy shop. And even better restaurants when you move around the corner or down the street. They are also only two blocks from the Philips Collection and a boat load of art galleries, bookstores, and Embassies. If you are into that faggoty kind of stuff.

Jack | March 19, 2008, 11:10pm | #

Bruce Majors wrote: "On the same side of the same block they are on there are 3 restaurants, a spa, and a sex toy shop,"

Is that a spa or a "spa"?

Bruce Majors | March 20, 2008, 1:39pm | #

Sorry Jack but it won't be enough for you. It is a spa where you buy lavendar infused sea salt and get facials (and not the kind you want). The two sex toy shops, the Leather Rack, on Reason's side of the block (more for the boys), and the Pleasure Chest (across the street, for boys and girls, or maybe girls and girls) are probably doomed by gentrification. I doubt they will both be on this block much longer.

Do you need me to look up on line where you can find what you are looking for out there in South Fart or Simpsonville? If your mom still has a v-chip on your home computer I can google those yellow pages for you.

SIV | March 20, 2008, 6:36pm | #

That being said, have we scared away the intern candidates yet? Maybe all the eligible candidates have already been hired by Dondero for his Independent bid for Ron Paul's seat.

I'm still waiting to hear if they hire anyone who is old enough to have
1. not used a helmet when riding a bicycle or skateboard as a kid
2. spent Friday nights watching the line-up of The Brady Bunch and the Partridge Family.
3. worn pukka shells and feathered his hair

Guy Montag | March 21, 2008, 1:56pm | #

Pro Libertate | March 26, 2008, 12:42pm | #

D.A. Ridgely,

I wonder if DC is following the trend of allowing custom plates? If so, people could petition to have it as one of the custom plate options. Florida must have 100 different plates available.

Monica Lewisnky | March 26, 2008, 1:11pm | #

I have forwarded my resume. I think you will find I am especially sensitive to the needs of powerful men, and I can bring my own kneepads.

Unfortunately, Monica, you failed the all-important "ability to proofread the properly spell your own name" test.

Jennifer | March 26, 2008, 2:34pm | #

And I failed the "ability to proofread my own goddamned post before posting it" test, but I'm not applying for the internship anyway so that's cool.
