Now Playing at reason.tv: Gillespie on Roger Williams; George Takei vs. the Monorail; CSI: Mississippi

Click on through to reason.tv's rough cut blog and take a gander at editor-in-chief talking up the liberty-loving legacy of Roger Williams, founder of Providence, Rhode Island and the visionary behind fully secular government in what became the United States.

Other recent clips include a pinch from the great monorail episode of The Simpsons and a Mississippi TV report based on Senior Editor Radley Balko's stunning expose of Magnolia State medical examiner Steven Hayne.

Great interview (nice he didn't call you a pinhead, tell you to shut-up or cut your mic) and love the site. That said, I hope there'll be less redirects once the rough cut is a thing of the past.

The title of the Sullum/O'Reilly vid alone was worth the price of admission:

SULLUM VS. O'REILLY ON DRUGS

Heh.

Not for nothing, but I wrote to "Real Time" again today, and double dog dared Maher to have Nick on the show, so Nick can explain to Maher how he is no kind of libertarian at all, and why.

While I'm on the subject, where the hell does Kos get off calling himself a libertarian while endorsing Edwards for president?

Where the hell does Kos get off calling himself a libertarian while espousing every plank in the Communist Manifesto?

Nick, was that guy trying to pick you up at the end? He'll "take you around"?

If you were wearing the leather jacket, he would have been all over you.

Nick looks like a bit like Jermaine from "Flight of the Conchords".

I thought Jefferson coined the term "wall of serparation."

Holy shit.

I bought Sullum's book years ago, and I never saw that segment from Reilly factor. Man, Jacob kicked his ass large.

king,

Sorry to nit pick, but it's Jemaine, not Jermaine, regardless of what my spell checker says. Otherwise, yeah, there's some resemblance.
