I'll be speaking at a panel discussion hosted by "Project Fresh" tonight in Los Angeles on the topic of "Foreign Intervention and Moral Obligation." (Quick summation: more or less against both.)
Fellow panelists are:
Edwin Smith / Leon Benwell Professor of Law, International Relations and Political Science, University of Southern California School of Law.
Josh Lockman / Lecturer in Law, University of Southern California School of Law. He is a fellow with the Truman National Security Project and a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy.
Mohammed Abed / Assistant Professor of Philosophy, California State University, Los Angeles.
It starts at 7 p.m. tonight, Monday May 23, at the Downtown Independent Theater, 251 S. Main Street. It is a ticketed event. Tickets available online now for the curious price of $6.11. $10 at the door. Details and tickets here.

A little more notice would be nice. I'd love to go, but I already made plans for tonight.

Seriously, could've used the heads up over the weekend. My office is downtown, but I mostly telecommute due to being located in Ventura County. Had I known about this in advance, I'd have gone into the office today and been in attendence tonight. I would've even had Doherty sign my phone, since I d/l his book on my kindle app.
