If you've been in the market for a TV commentary show where the first thing you hear about the recent Ben Bernanke press conference was that Bernanke "was completely full of crap"--and I know I am--you'll want to check in with the latest offering at the Russia Today network, Adam vs. The Man. The show airs weekdays at 7 p.m. eastern on Russia Today.
The program stars Adam Kokesh, who sought the GOP nomination for a federal House seat from New Mexico in 2010 as a "Ron Paul Republican" of sorts.
Kokesh is a former Marine who served in Fallujah during the Iraq War and became an antiwar activist later on, interrupting John McCain during his 2008 acceptance speech for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination.

Wow, I would have never thought that a philosophical, moral absolutist libertarian would get a spotlight like this. Looking forward to seeing where this show goes.

Interesting? You're kidding, right?

But what do you really think about it Max?

I'm a little creeped out by Russia Today's consistent interest in libertarianism and, particularly, radical social reform. I think, from their (anti-American) perspective, they see libertarianism as an ideology of "useful idiots" who will undermine the US from the inside if successful.

I would imagine it's more for the interest of their own audience. Like, "Hey, look at these wacky Americans. Aren't you glad we're a sane, normal kleptocratic thugocracy?"

What's up with the Reason hard-on for Russia Today?
"We don't care if the funding comes from a totalitarian government with an anti-American agenda, just as long as we get to be on TV"

What is wrong with turning your enemy's tools to work against him?
a libertarian|5.5.11 @ 9:30PM|#
who're you calling a tool?

All governments are somewhat totalitarian.

Is RT really a bastion of pro totalitarian thought?

Were you invoking an obviously oxymoronic statement for humor?
