Last week, the
Government Accoutability Office released a report arguing that
customers of direct-to-consumer genetic testing companies are being
"misled" by "useless information." The implication is that testing
companies are in need of supervision by the wise bureaucrats at the
Food and Drug Administration. As a happy gene screen customer,
