The preload still looks like top right is yelling at bottom left while he jacks it.

Is it vulgar, or does it just suck?
Colin|6.9.10 @ 11:54AM|#
It's kinda silly to try to do a segment like this in 3 minutes. That's what I call obscene.

'Twas a waste of time. Nothing personal, Nick.

But it did serve to illustrate how allegedly free market business-channel hosts can also be social nannies.

What's this show with shit in its title? It reminds me of HBC's Night of 1000 Shits.

Bam. Jacket.
I love how CNBC windows the view you know they don't like, but full screens the view they want to push. Nick was windowed 100% of the time including several updates not relative to the discussion. Nazi Parents for Greater Control guy gets full screen two times.

Typical US TV interview, 'whambamthankyoumam".

"I know we have to allow an opposing view, but come on! That's not even close to what my eighth grade civics teacher told me. Are you NUTS?"

Who could possibly comment but on the subject of vulgarity than me?
Tag me in, Nick. I'll give these hoopleheads a giant fist of what-for right in the eye.

As long as I don't have to type, of course. I type like a rabid mink that's lost its fingers in a 4th of July grilling accident.

Memo to myself... "Hoopleheads" would be a great name for my fantasy football team this fall.

Nice! You know the funny thing is Swearengen had so many creative epithets that I forgot that some of them might have actual meanings.
Tim|6.9.10 @ 1:32PM|#
You are our W. Shakespeare of indecency. You sick bastard.
ola|6.9.10 @ 1:04PM|#
would of been nice if that asshat wouldn't have been vulgar by not letting gillespie answer the first question.

Once, just once, I want someone on one of these shows to say, "incidents of stupidity occur throughout the world when stupid people do anything and when smart people make bad choices. Stop blaming the entertainment."
Some dude|6.9.10 @ 1:16PM|#
Chickens! You self-censored your own headline.
|6.9.10 @ 1:21PM|#
Sometimes it's funnier that way, like how the radio edit of Anthrax's "I'm the Man" is way better than the original.
|6.9.10 @ 2:18PM|#
I wish Nick had opened with "Fuck no, I don't think vulgarity is a problem in our society.".
|6.9.10 @ 2:37PM|#
That whole segment was a cluster-fuck. "yeah, we have 3 minutes to discuss mideast history."

The people vote with their channel changer: more vulgarity please.
