Michael C. Moynihan | May 7, 2010
The 2nd annual 2010 Oslo Freedom Forum
kicked off last week in the Norwegian capital, in an opulent hotel
that played host to an impressive list of political dissidents and
human rights activists—Garry Kasaparov, Lech Walesa, Anwar
Ibrahim—and, coincidentally, the Russian Prime Minister Dmitri
Medvedev and his FBS entourage. Michael C. Moynihan attended the
conference and spoke about Texas rodeos with Chechen rebels,
Obama's parentage with former Soviet dissidents, and ransacked
rooms with Russian democracy activists.
