impractical and rather silly for government to decide what games we
can play. Yet since 2006, lawmakers have been pushing a clampdown
on Internet gambling, sponsoring legislation to make it illegal for
banks and credit card companies to process payments of gambling
operations. But as David Harsanyi explains, it's un-American (to
pinch a phrase from Nancy Pelosi) to prevent citizens from
indulging in a harmless activity they enjoy in the privacy of their
own homes.
