Republican Party is coming to an end, another Oklahoma City bombing
is on the way, or any of the other apocalyptic scenarios that
observers have tried to attach to them, writes Managing Editor
Jesse Walker. But their curious views do have lessons to teach us
about the nature of nativism, wishful thinking, and the cult of the
presidency.
