The Democrats in
Washington are pushing a health care "reform" bill that
The New York Times calls, "possibly the most
complex legislation in modern history." Costing more than $1
trillion over the next decade, the proposed legislation would
dramatically extend government control over all aspects of American
health care and still not achieve the goal of cutting health care
costs. Reason Science Correspondent Ronald Bailey argues
that real reform would be consumer driven, transparent, and
competitive. Reform means markets, not mandates.
