For nearly four decades, environmental
activist Lester Brown has been predicting imminent global famine.
For four decades he's been wrong. But never mind, since the current
issue of Scientific American has published Brown's latest
apocalyptic predictions. It's the same old story, writes Science
Correspondent Ronald Bailey, but this time Brown insists it's
really for real. As Bailey notes, Brown turns the old adage "Not
always right, but never in doubt" into "Never right, but never it
doubt."
