New at Reason: Dan Mage on the Obama Campaign's Use of High-Tech Sweatshop Labor

President Barack Obama has repeatedly voiced his support for raising the federal minimum wage. At a March 2008 campaign appearance in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, candidate Obama declared, "If they're able and willing to work, they should be able to find a job that pays a living wage." But as Dan Mage writes, despite Obama's lofty talk, his presidential campaign employed high-tech sweatshop labor to help get out the vote.
