At the 2nd annual International Conference on Climate Change, Rep. Tom McClintock (R-Calif.) warns against that "radical global warmongers are now enacting" in the Golden State and elsewhere.
In 2006, he notes, California called for a 25 percent reduction in man-made carbon dioxide emissions by 2020--something that could not be accomplished even by junking every car on the state's roads. At the same time, the state legislature called for $40 billion in infrastructure improvements, an undertaking that will release massive amounts of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere.
Such contradictory policies are common when it comes to agriculture, winemaking, ethanol and more, says McClintock, and will lead to a greatly weakened economy in California and elsewhere, all in the name of fighting exaggerated effects of climate change.

This was all de-contradicted by the term "climate change" replacing the old term. Morans.
I think climate change is a liberal plot to keep us from fighting for our rights against the Iraqui terorists what attacked us on 9-11. The liberals spread the rumors by infecting us all with body thetans that were created by xenu.
This will be yesterday's news as soon as president Obama gets to
talk to the North Kireans and find out how we are scaring them into
acting out so much.
The world needs more hugs and less thugs.
Does not anyone know that detonating megatons of hydrogen bombs at the Nellis nuclear testing site would be much more effective tahn reducing man-made carbon dioxide emissions? This was proveb by the TTAPS study, and there is no reason anyone who did the TTAPS study would lie about this matter.

You've inspired my new catchphrase for the Facetwitterbama

"You can't hug teh children with an underwater ARM."
Juanita,
Want to join Jennefer and me for a lovely dinner with organic
wine?
McClintock's wrong about most (all?) things that don't involve
pointing out how terrible CA Dems are. Sadly, he still serves an
important purpose. With the zombification of Bill Jones's career,
McClintock is the only CA GOPer left who can even do that
competently.
Oh, California, how I really don't miss you at all...

More "effective"? At what?
Not that I would miss Las Vegas...
McClintock's new district is right up against the edges of Oregon and Nevada. Methinks he's planning an escape. I don't blame him.
