Vaclav Klaus on Climate Change "Alarmists"

Vaclav Klaus, president of the Czech Republic and the European Union, speaks at the 2009 International Conference on Climate Change. Klaus argues that global warming "alarmists" are short on data and long on coercive measures that will reduce wealth and development in the Third World without having any impact on environmental concerns.

Last time I argued with him, he tried to convince me that public works done with stolen money (i.e. taxes) gave value to the economy. I told him that value is not an objective term, and that he could not know this for a fact, but he insisted on this red herring.

The liberal media is obsessed with climate change. It isn't happening, it should be obvious. The world hasn't warmed in the past 11 years, and CO2 has been proven not to cause warming by experiments. The scientific community is government funded, and since they do nothing useful anyway, make up this BS to get more funds. They want socialism, scientists are just as dishonest as anyone else. Good to see that president of the Czech Republic is rational enough to see through the lies of the IPCC and liberals.
