coalition of mostly farm energy lobbyists sent a letter to the
Congressional Democratic leadership begging for billions in
subsidies and tax credits. In their letter, the lobbyists claim
that a farm energy bailout would "help resuscitate our nation's
economy and create hundreds of thousands of well-paying jobs." But
as Science Correspondent Ronald Bailey writes, farm energy pork not
only wastes money, it harms the environment in the process.
