Sweater-wearing Matt Welch looks like he is just begging to be
beat up by leather-jacket-wearing Nick Gillespie.
I can't watch the video here but maybe later at home.
What they don't tell you is that Nick's jacket has grafted into
his flesh. He can't take it off anymore.
And the smell....
I saw it more as nerdy Matt comes to cool Nick for advice on getting chicks.
I think as long as you guys can have shows and websites like this, we will be ok. But when you are shut down and outlawed, thats when I will really start to worry.
I liked that you kept it to twenty minutes. A lot more people will watch.
I'm not a big fan of Nick's constant interruptions, need for oneupsmanship, non sequitur pop culture references, smug attitude or running commentary. Actually, I'm not a fan of Nick at all. How the f%$k did he become editor of Reason? Bring back Postrel!
"What they don't tell you is that Nick's jacket has grafted into

Damn you're ignorant. Everyone knows the jacket is Nick's
exoskeleton. No "grafting" involved.
BlueBook (a.k.a. Nick Gillespie),
Very sly of you.
Andrew Brown (a.k.a. Matt Welch),
There's no need to get personal. I was just joking. You look fine
in your sweater.
You guys both need to stop posing as other commenters just to snipe
at each other! I'm sure you'd both fare quite well in a Mr.
Universe competition. There's room for both the quiet intellectual
look and the tuff-guy greaser look in the free market.
Ok. That settles that!
i lost a significant amount of respect for Nick when he said he wasn't sure if ron paul was a libertarian. Ron Paul is a tried and true libertarian, and far more minarchist than friedman or others nick would consider to be libertarian. he was pro-immigration but rejected welfare state subsidation of immigration. and trying to say that "free trade" agreements are actually free trade is boneheaded. the only people who have the cred to call ron paul not a libertarian are anarchists like rothbard, but even rothbard loved paul.
nick gillespie looks a whole lot like the charachter 'Anton Chigur' from the movie 'No Country for Old Men.'
