If you didn't manage to get through last night's somnolent debate between Sens. Barack Obama and John McCain, worry not. As a public service, reason.tv has condensed the 90-minute snoozefest in Nashville down to an easily digestable sixty-three seconds.

Did anyone else watch Mad Men on Sunday and think Betty's (senile and angry) Father was McCain?
One promised me a free house and the other one promised me
immortality.
I do want video of Obama confronting God and demanding he give me
healthcare.
I dislike McCain because he is a democrat. I dislike Obama because
he is a communist.
McCain? Obama? Bah. I opt for a third choice. Palin. No, not
Sarah Palin.

I think Michael Palin summed up my feelings about McCain and
Obama:

I didn't see the debate. Why did they hold it at a white power club, and how did they get Obama out of there alive?
MikeB, that's just like getting rickrolled. We don't take kindly
to that here.
I like the mashup by the reason folks though. Keep working on it,
and you'll give the daily show a run for their money. You know,
throw some clips of Wilform Brimly oatmeal commercials in there.
Pure gold.
Sage, I didn't make it. It just seemed like a good proxy for my attitute towards the debate and the quality of that McBama character.
Well played, sir. Just kidding.
Oh, and make that "Wilford." I don't know/care how to spell his
last name.
I never bothered to watch the debate last night. My John Adams
DVD had just arrived and I watched a far better debate between
Adams and Dickinson.
These shows always remind me of the startling difference between
statesmen and the current crop of political hacks (Community
activist, Hockey Mom, Angry old guy, Joe six-pack). Sad very
sad.
In another matter, Sage, No Prob
I missed the debate last night (too drunk). Does anyone know if the debates can be downloaded for my ipod (for free I mean, who would pay for that shit?).
Mr. Nice Guy, there might be an easier way, but if you go to keepvid.com and put in the link Matthew supplied it will let you download the video as flv or mp4
one of the positive outcomes of Obama's becoming president will
be the rebirth of deliberation. We have seen the ends of
plutocratic-cleptocracy and it's 'reasoning'.
now bark some reason my way, deep thinkers.
