All week long, Democrats have been struggling for a foreign policy slogan that will fit. Barack Obama's guy Richard Danzig talked up "sustainable security." Anne-Marie Slaughter tried out "doctrine of strategic leadership" and "containment, containment containment."
Well, leave it to Bubba to come up with the line of the convention so far: America will lead by the "power of our example" rather than "the example of our power." Beat that, John Kerry!
