Dihydrogen Monoxide is used by industry in the manufacturing
process. This dangerous chemical should be banned, but the
politicians are all in the pocket of transnational corporations.

It is good that the liked article includes a photo of a DHMO dispensing unit and receptacle, so that parents can keep an eye out for H2O paraphernalia. I certainly don't want MY kids to have access to this dangerous chemical.

It's usually several gallons in less than an hour. Every now and
then some idiot dies from this as part of a frat initiation.

HypoNAtremia is, by definition, low sodium concentration.

The radio contest was called "Hold Your Wee For a Wii." The
woman who died was a mom who was hoping to win a Wii system for her
kids. She lost the contest, and a few hours later, her life. Very
sad story.
Oddly enough, I heard last month that a Kansas radio station was
planning to hold an identical event. Jokes about what's wrong with
Kansas, and it being years behind the rest of the country may
commence now.

When I was healthy, and running half-marathons, hyponatremia was
regularly featured in Running World articles.
They advocated the use of sports drinks (that contain small amounts
of sodium) instead of DHMO while running distance. Too bad this
wasn't common info among idiot DJs.

It's not just drinking it ~ People inhale DMHO sometimes, which is leads to more fatalities than the ingestion of it. this stuff is very dangerous, we MUST get it off the streets!

DHMO vapor, a major greenhouse gas, has been pumped into the air
in ever increasing quantities since the very beginning of the
industrial revolution.
And this corrosive chemical, in liquid form, is used as a coolant
in nuclear reactors, pumped right through the center of the
radioactive core!
