I sincerely hope that Gillespie, who has written eloquently about
the importance of immigration in his own family's history, never

he generally gives to adversarial guests. In any case, I think it's
insane for someone who isn't pushing the same agenda O'Reilly is to
even appear on his show.
On the other hand, I'd love to see Dave Weigel or Kerry Howley go
on The Factor. While Sullum and Gillespie have done a good job of
tweaking Bill in their appearances, I think the young'uns need to

Not sure what happened here, but apparently the Ron Paul
campaign was mistaken in saying that Ron Paul would be on Larry
King tonight. That is unless Ron Paul's real name is Suze Orman and
he decided to become a clueless personal financial expert who wants
to vote for Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton because she wants her
same sex partner to have equal rights, because it's obvious that
Obama and Clinton would provide that. Wow that was a horrible run
on sentence. In any case, Ron Paul does not appear to be on the

interview...I'm pretty sure (multitasking/half listening) she just
advised someone to liquidate stocks that have been averaging 12%
return to pay off credit card debt at 4% if the debt was making her

... all along I was thinking: OK here is what it boils down to--
people give their money to wall street to invest it (and
essentially people getting only the crumbs back), at the same time

I too just watched Larry King for no reason. Or so I thought.
Then she made that horribly arrogant and crass comment about Ron
Paul and I realised I watched so I know I should never ever buy
anything of hers.
I loved how she spent so much time complaining about the estate
taxes (not just the unfairness of married vs. partners) yet clearly
supports candidates that want to take more and more from everyone
to redistribute to others "in need".

Even most of ronpaulforums is pretty happy with Nick. If you know
anything about ronpaulforums, about 90% of the people there ATTACK
just about every positive mention of Ron Paul and nitpick every
little detail down to breathing technique, body language,etc.

gave her credit for being honest. Actually, I've always thought
monetary policy was some of the tougher stuff to really get your
arms around.
That being said, wasn't impressed by Suze...I'm pretty sure her
books are full of gems like "buy low, sell high".

jacket, are you trying to say you're the rebel faction or what? Oh
and thanks for throwing out "Strippers for Ron Paul". That's going
to win over a lot of converts! That interview was hot garbage. IF
you want Paul's message to get through to people, why don't you
think a little more about presentation.
So tell us - what exactly do you think Nick Gillespie owes you? Oh,
nothing? That's what I thought.
You're welcome to go on O'Reilly's show and present yourself anyway
you like. Gillespie doesn't represent anyone but himself, and isn't
pretending he does.

I'm not an advocate of total disengagement, but RP and Nick have a
point - a certain amount of the $10 bn we've given Musharraf has
gone directly to broker "cease fires" with some of the selfsame
warlords suspected of being involved in the Bhutto
assassination.
From my reading, Baitullah Mehsud was given suitcases full of cash
in 2005 to pay off his group's debt to AL QAEDA in exchange for not
shooting at Pakistani Army troops. They promptly broke off the
agreement and resumed their violent hijinks.
