Thinking of Virginia Postrel

As she posted on her blog last week, today is the day that former reason editor Virginia Postrel begins chemotherapy for cancer. Her prognosis is good and her spirits are high.

Virtually no one has done more to build the readership and profile of reason and her contributions to contemporary political and cultural discussions over the past two-decades plus are nothing short of invaluable. On behalf of everyone at Reason Foundation, the nonprofit that publishes the print and online editions of reason, I want to wish her a swift and speedy recovery.
