A wholesale dismissal of attorneys appointed by a prior
administration would be met with skepticism in the
Senate.
Really?
US Attorneys serve a term of four years that usually conclude when
a President's term ends. When a new President assumes office it is

Usually there is a wholesle changeover.
When people say that they don't think it's improper to use
prosecutorial offices to go after political opponents and advance
their own party's chances at the ballot box - that such a thing is
merely a policy that a President and Attorney General should be
implementing - we should take them at their word.
And vote accordingly.
