Brian Doherty, E.J. Dionne and David Boaz just wrapped up that panel on Radicals for Capitalism, trading barbs and sharing the wisdom of the libertarian (and liberal) ancients with an overflow crowd. I heard the first half this morning in the car. Brian, wow, you ran through your first part quickly. I am looking forward to reading the book. Will the book tour take you to Chicago? Would you call this a book tour?
Damn, you guys are mean. Tuccille does look a little bit like
Popeye, but you can tell from his book that he's got a great sense
of humor. And Doherty just looks like a good source of wry, dry
humor.
Is it just me, or does Doherty look like a great guy to get
drunk with?
Absolutely.
[As long as he] keeps his shirt on, right?
That too. That said, I used to work with a guy who went through a
period where he removed his shirt at every opportunity, and he was
freaking hilarious.
