More on the D.C. Area Radicals for Capitalism Roadshow: George Mason University and Cato Institute

I'm doing a couple of talks dedicated to my new book Radicals for Capitalism: A Freewheeling History of the Modern American Libertarian Movement, this week in the D.C. metro area.

On Wednesday, March 21, I'm speaking at the Public Choice Center Seminar series at George Mason University, speaking on the relevance of economics and economists to the story told in my book. It is free and open to the public, and starts at 4 pm; location is Carow Hall on GMU's Fairfax campus.

Then, as I first announced yesterday, on Thursday March 22 at noon I'll be appearing at the Cato Institute for a noon book forum; I talk about the book; Washington Post columnist and Brookings Fellow E.J. Dionne comments; and David Boaz, author of Libertarianism: A Primer, moderates. Cato wants you to RSVP if you are planning on attending; you can do so here. Lunch is served after the talk. Cato's HQ is at 1000 Massachusetts Ave. NW in D.C.

For relentlessly updated news, events, and reviews of Radicals, see my dedicated site.

"Free of charge" sounds like a trick. Can you clarify?

In other words, how much is this "free" speaking engagement this Wednesday? And when is this Wednesday?

Brian: have you encountered any interference from left-wing zealotry over the course of the tour? Just curious.
