Pre-Election Bipartisanship

On that side of the aisle, the cloak-and-dagger netherworld of Secret Agent Rep. Curt Weldon (R-Penn.) catches up with him as federal Kremlinologists look into his ties to Russian wheeling and dealing. Sadly, odds are Weldon will live to see tomorrow.

On that other side of the aisle, full-bore bore Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) will celebrate Christmas in October by paying back campaign funds he used to tip Ritz-Carlton bartenders. Without admitting wrongdoing, of course.

It's high time to reinstitute the Draft.
We need to draft a whole, brand spanking new House of Representatives and a third of the Senate!

It takes a lot of imagination to equate Reid's overtipping of a bartender with Weldon taking payoffs from Russian arms dealers. I realize it's tough to find a Democratic malfeasance for every Republican one but you're reaching a little bit today.
