A press release I read all the way through, and it gave me horrible cramps:

NEW YORK, NY - September 27, 2006 - There's a new online women's lifestyle magazine and it's raising eyebrows. That's because it's the first magazine tailored to each week of a woman's monthly cycle. Yes, "that" cycle.
In each issue, Four Weeks Magazine (http://www.fourweeksmag.com) recommends foods, products, destinations and DIY projects based on the moods a woman's hormones have her feeling during each week of her monthly cycle. There's also a "hormone horoscope" that forecasts what a woman's month will be like based on her hormones.
Upon its debut on September 1, 2006, Four Weeks immediately got the blogosphere buzzing and provoked intense reactions across the spectrum. Many women eagerly embrace the new concept:
"I am LOVING this new monthly online magazine!"
- iVillage Beehive (9/21/06)
While others fear Four Weeks sends an anti-feminist message:
"I think this magazine should be killed."
- AllThingsJennifer.wnymedia.net (9/7/06)
Whether readers love it or hate it at first, the founder and editor of Four Weeks, Gabrielle Lichterman, is confident that ultimately all cycling women will realize it's practical to synchronize one's life with one's hormone cycle. "Women can gain an advantage by planning their life around their hormonal influences. For example, it makes sense to plan high-energy activities during the week a woman's hormones make her energy and endurance peak and to plan mellow activities during the week a woman's hormones make her feel sedate and tired," Lichterman says.
Future issues of Four Weeks will show women the best spooky Halloween vacations to take, Thanksgiving foods to eat and holiday shopping items to buy according to the week of their monthly cycle.
Men don't have to feel left out for long. Lichterman reveals that the December issue will include a 24-hour gift guide for men to correspond to the male 24-hour hormone cycle (http://www.hormonology.info/guyscycle.htm).

the male 24-hour hormone cycle
yeah that is all fucked up...i am not at my best and most active ,
most horny and most agressive in the morning...i must have some
wierd adapted hormon cycle...like cave man times i would be the guy
who hides all morning and afternoon then show up at your cave
around 7 to kill you and rapes all your women. :)
If I ever get divorced, and have to jump into the dating pool
again, I know who I want as a swimming instructor.
You suave craveman, I bet you get all the girls.
It's a good thing this is an online journal, `cause it'd be
awful if anyone ever asked the editors, "So, how long you been
working on that rag?"
:)

It's a good thing this is an online journal, `cause it'd be

Rag? Wouldn't "periodical" be the correct term?
Also, I think there is a good chance that they will pad their articles too much.
Why are we mocking this publication? Shouldn't we let the market
decide its merits?
:)
And there's a built in regulator for those worried about
pre-adolescents accessing the site.
Old enough to bleed, old enough to read.
Did anybody read the page on men's 24 hour cycle? It basically is a guide for what you can manipulate your boyfriend/husband into at certain times of day. Scary.
Women can gain an advantage by planning their life around
their hormonal influences.
Yeah...this is the stupidest thing ever.
Future issues of Four Weeks will show women the best spooky
Halloween vacations to take, Thanksgiving foods to eat and holiday
shopping items to buy according to the week of their monthly
cycle.
This magazine is no different than any other woman's magazine. It
is just a veiled pitch for selling products to women who are
looking for any excuse to buy something. Women's magazines exist
for the sole purpose of bleeding women dry...(financially).

Not ALL things Jennifer, thankyouveryfuckingmuch.
No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the
American people.
Or their taste, either, it seems.
(As a woman, my reaction is ?!!!!!)
Also, I think there is a good chance that they will pad
their articles too much.
I wouldn't let that tampon my enthusiasm.
