wtf?!? a whole article on "Private Education," and the only university mentioned, is a government one?!?
granted, everyone on this blog champions private or public etc - but at least *try* to make a decent point.

I am from karnataka, the colleges are private but the colleges are still affiliated to a govt university which sometimes dont have colleges of their own but administer common exams and evaluation and award degrees. A person graduating from a university could have gone different schools in different towns. The govt has mostly resisted in allowing private universities. The govt meddles into admissions into these colleges with quotas reserved for certain sections of the soceity but these quotas are lesser than what it is in govt colleges
