Don't get too happy for the Minnesota taxpayers. The lawmakers there are patting themselves on the back for giving the Twins a new stadium. About 2/3 of it will be paid by a county-wide sales tax. Better than having the whole state pay for it, but Carl Pohlad, the owner, is laughing all the way to the bank right now. He's about 132 and will get a much better price for the team when he sells them now.
