I'm debatin', our much-missed former associate editor Matt Welch is moderatin', and we'll be talking about cartoon hatin' (yes, famous Danish Mohammed cartoon imbroglio) tonight at an L.A. Press Club-sponsored debate panel. That's tonight, Thursday, May 11, at 7:30 p.m., in the L.A. Press Club's headquarters at 4773 Hollywood Blvd., with a reception beginning at 6:30. They are charging non-members $10 at the door--totally worth it, I assure you. They do desire an RSVP to: [e-mail].

Also on the panel are Eddie Tabash, Chair of Center For Inquiry-West, constitutional lawyer, and chair of the national legal committee of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, and Edina Lekovic, communications director of the Muslim Public Affairs Council (www.mpac.org).
