If the Mid-Easterners (from whatever country they end up coming from) killed 18 innocent people in order to kill 4-5 CIA agents in Turkey, would that make them terrorists?
Doesn't the US doing the same in Pakistan make us the terrorists?

When shooting off my mouth in another thread, I was not aware that there were 4 or 5 al qaeda members killed in the strike.
That may or may not have ramifications for what I said, but I feel that I should acknowledge facts that I was not aware of. I may or may not change my conclusions, but in the face of new information I certainly need to think.
Anybody who considers it a bad idea to think when you get new information is invited to go shove it. Or explain to everybody what I think. It seems to be all the rage, with one guy calling me an uber-militarist in a different thread, and people in another thread implying that I don't take national security seriously.

The phone taps are pretty typical examples of govenment in action, but it would be nifty if someone would look into how that same low signal-to-noise ratio datamining baloney is getting used for air marshal assignments.
