From our January issue, my look at the legacy of Alfred C. Kinsey in light of the recent book and film about the seminal sex researcher.
If that's not enough Kinsey for you, by the way, there's a PBS documentary about the man and his work airing tonight. Ironically, New York's PBS affiliate recently refused to air an underwriting spot for Bill Condon's biopic, apparently considering the film's content too racy for public TV viewers.

The most interesting aspect of this article was in the "Contributors" section: Julian's Kinsey scale rating of 1.5. It is rare and refreshing for a male to be so honest.

Are we all Kinseyans now?
Damn right. I always like to relax a few times a week by going out to my favorite Kinsey bar.
But that's only after years of going to a Keynes bar.

According to the Kinsey Report, every average man you know much prefers to play his favorite sport when the temperature is low.

Not only are we all different in the bedroom, if we have any imagination what-so-ever, then each encounter is new and different.

Kinsey (whatever his personal foibles), along with a number of other individuals, helped to start to free us from (amongst other things) the straight-jacket of religiously inspired sexual morality; what a great man he was.

I prefer to credit Jane Russell.

I have a great deal of imagination and, in fact, the vast majority of my encounters are entirely imaginary.

Hey, in the non-imaginary category, would tongue-kissing a lesbian count as my "homosexual experience"?
