Next Halloween, if you see someone dressed as a vampire, tell him that you have a relative who bled to death and you're extremely offended by his outfit. If he objects that he isn't a real vampire and that it's generally considered permissable to dress up as something unpleasant at a costume party, point out that Prince Harry isn't a real Nazi either, that he was at a costume party too, and that he still had to apologize for his choice of duds.

If the vampire gives in and says he's sorry, tell him the apology isn't enough and that you want him to donate to a blood bank.

That was genius.

How long will it be before someone, because of this obvious bit of comedy, claims that Rupert Murdoch really DOES own Daily Kos?

Thanks, Jesse.

"...and the late Princess Di (most famous for dying)."

Good thing I wasn't drinking something when I read that.

I knew it!

...Murdoch owns Daily Kos.

The extent of the effect remains to be seen, but at least Princess Di contributed some potential good-lookingness genes into the Royal Family.

It's clear the boy takes after his mother in the IQ category. Might I suggest this fine riff on the "scandal": http://www.private-eye.co.uk/covers/1124/1124pe.gif

Actually Princess Di is most famous for being famous. It is now possible to be a "star" without ever doing anything of any significance.

We're aware of the fact that she died because she was famous.

Di is famous for being a twit who married a Royal Twit.
