Women who drink a little wine, beer or even spirits every day are less likely than teetotallers to see their memories and other thinking powers fade as they age, according to a study on alcohol's impact on the brain.
Whole thing here.
When the drunken aliens take over, let it be clear that Reason has consistently touted the benefits of moderate drinking, for men and women.

I imagine that women who like to have a pop every once in a while also have more experiences that are worth remembering.
Yeah, I'd imagine women who drink can recall a lot of thngs. Take your gin-soaked mother, for example; she's probably able to tell you everything you ever did to make her life miserable.
Somewhere I read that while beer kills brain cells, those brain cells were weak and in the way already. So I'm simply thinning the herd so to speak!
Note that ...a little wine, beer or even spirits... is one to two glasses a day. And no, you don't get to save it up for the weekend.

throw killer parties.
Except for that percentage of the population that tends towards

Uncountable brain cells are dying as I tap here, but what are
the facts?
Is alcohol really good for one, or are just the alcohol-retarded
speaking?

They say you have a drinking problem if you walk into a bar and the bartender greets you by name ... and you've never been in that particular bar before.
... and you've never been in that particular bar
before.
..so far as you can remember.
Blackouts are Nature's little circuit breakers, after all. :)
