The first, cheapest, and arguably best reason to despise someone is because he is rich, famous, and powerful. Bonus points if he works in your profession and carries on like a self-important jackass.
Feh - the same applies to countless sports "stars" that Americans revere... This is the second time in two days you guys are despising someone for their wealth (the first was that safe-toy lawyer). What gives? Are we on a crusade now to discern the ethical validity of every celebrity's wealth? Because that could take a long, long time.

I enjoyed Matt's article. Dan reminds me of "agreeable" politicians who haved honed the practice of saying Yes, It's Surely Terrible And I'm Gonna Do Something About It to a fine edge and then go about their business of same-old same-old.
