That article looks like a NY Times style hit-piece to me.
Presented as evidence that the Saudi's are angry at America: The
fact that they have been selling more oil to China and less to the
U.S. Don't the Saudi's sell oil on the spot market? I believe it's
highest bid wins there. And if they won't sell to the highest
bidder, doesn't that mean cheaper oil for everyone?
The Saudi's quoted in the article all "love America" but dislike
George Bush. In that way they are just like Michael Moore (except
for the loving America part.)
Also stated: "[The Saudi's] seemed far more interested in the U.S.
elections than in their own..." That's funny. Me too.
Also, the author has a French sounding name. So there.
Wait, I thought Bush was in the pay of the Saudi's? Now they want him gone? Why?
He can't even hold on to the Saudi royal family now? Geezus. Who the hell are America's allies in the Middle East now anyway? Libya?
This might be making too big of a deal for a single article, but if this Anti-Bush Saudi thing gets bigger, won't Bush, just maybe, stop protecting the Saudis? I really would like to know what was in that classified report. I've long thought that our biggest enemy is Saudi Arabia. I don't think I'm alone in this.

Already done. I believe US troops are now out of Saudi
Arabia.
C'mon folks, quick reality check: Do you care what some Saudis
think about who should be US President? Why?
Do you really think the Saudi government was ever our friend? Do
you have any reason to believe that these particular nutbars, er,
bigshots, are enunciating policy?
Do you have any idea how many Saudi bigshots are supporters of AQ
and Wahhabism? Think there might be some overlap between Saudis who
are enemies of the US and Saudis who want Bush gone?
Wait, I thought Bush was in the pay of the Saudi's? Now they
want him gone? Why?
This brings to mind an old anecdote I heard about one of the USSR's
leaders telling a US presidential candidate "I'll support you, or
oppose you -- whichever you think will help you more." I can't
remember the specific people invloved, which makes it hard for me
to verify. I hereby submit it to the wisdom of the crowd.
Michael Jones, surely you remember that, along with our eternal ally Libya, we have always been at war with Saudi Arabia. Any documents you have in your possession that indicate otherwise are black propaganda distributed by Saudi provocateurs and should be dropped into the nearest Memory Hole immediately.
"He can't even hold on to the Saudi royal family now?"
Sounds like a step forward to me.
"Geezus. Who the hell are America's allies in the Middle East now
anyway?"
A helluva lot higher class of people than the Saudi royal
family!
