Castle Anthrax

A civil lawsuit aims to get to the bottom of what role -- if any -- the U.S. Army's bio weapon lab at Fort Detrick had in the anthrax slayings of 2001.

I hear all they do at Fort Detrick is dress, undress, and knit exciting underwear.

Hypothesis: the line dividing libertoids who post about baseball from those who post about Monty Python and Cthlulu follows the line dividing "small government" righties, from gay druid potheads with high incomes.

I'm starting a chart.

And, joe, it's spelled "Cthulhu." Nyarlathotep frowns on your house.

Hey, "anthrax" is kind of a Lovecraftian word. Makes sense since "antrax" is Middle English for "malignant boil," a term Lovecraft would have killed to coin.

What were we talking about?

and what about those of us who do both?

"it's pither: spelt like brotherhood, but with a pi instead of the bro, and no 'hood'".

GO CUBBIES!!!

what about that?

happy friday,

Since it's all off topic anyway...

I grew up on Shookstown Rd. in Frederick, MD, which is nestled snugly 'twixt Fort Detrick -- which is conducting an extensive cleanup of the nearby Krantz farm -- and the Gambrill State Park pond that the FBI drained in order to pin something on the eternal "person of interest," Mr. Hatfill.

I have since taken to calling the road Anthrax Alley.

Oh, and the Army also got pissy at one of the writers of my high school yearbook for claiming that Ft. Detrick *produced* bio-weapons. Personally, I think she was just carless.

hey joe,

I don't know what the hell a libertoid is, but I think this is a libertarian site.
