Didn't Arizona recall Evan Mecham in the 1980's?

I think Mecham was impeached before the recall vote could be held.

I live in AZ, and I still had to go look it up. Granted, I was a lot less politcally interested at that time, but I knew he got 'recalled' one way or the other.
