Uncle Sam says no to ad hoc info war by charging the guy who scammed Al-Jazeera's server info in order to route visitors from Al-Jazeera's site to a "Let Freedom Ring" site he put up. John William Racine II needs to enlist if he wants to pull that kind of trick.
Yes, it's a neat hack, but the Net would grind to a halt if such things went unpunished.

Mr. Racine should be charged with creating a public nuisance, and the case continued without a finding for six months, with the charges dismissed if he stays out of trouble. You are correct; there needs to be an appropriate government sanction for this criminal activity.
