The TV talk show host took his traveling proto-Senate campaign to Georgetown University to warn about the dangers of elitism. (Given the coin they are spending, Georgetown students probably worry about elitism going away.)

Springer is weighing a run for a Senate seat in Ohio as a Democrat, but Democrats do not appear to particularly eager to have a tabloid-perennial for a candidate.

Meanwhile, Springer is putting his money into decidedly middle-American issues. He has signed on to help sponsor a NASCAR racing team.
