Kids Without Welfare As We Knew It

Good news:

"Contrary to fears that welfare reform would hurt children, the largest study yet assessing the effects of the sweeping 1996 act pushing mothers on welfare into work has found that it has not been bad for youngsters and may do some good."

Which is consistent with earlier findings.
