David Duke has pleaded guilty to mail fraud, having taken thousands of dollars in political donations and used them instead to make personal investments and go gambling. I think it's safe to say that this is one of those problems that would not have existed if Strom Thurmond had been elected president.

Very witty. I linked to your posting on my blog. (and gave you the credit of course...)

Regarding your closing statement that "this problem would not have existed..." Of course not. Had that been the case, Mr. Duke would likely be using our tax dollars for his investments and gambling habits.

Jesus, what a cheap shot.
And what has this to do with either Lott or Thurmond, aside from the fact that Duke was (ok, always has been) a bigot?
Not one of your best efforts, Mr. Walker.
