Danger: Unlicensed Speech

Pirate radio isn't dead -- and neither are the Federal Communications Commission's efforts to eliminate it. The government raided Berkeley Liberation Radio yesterday for broadcasting without a license, seizing the left-anarchist outfit's transmitter and antenna along with various studio gear.

Word is they plan to go back on the air as soon as they can replace the missing equipment. If you've got some spare parts and feel like giving the FCC a poke in the eye, you can contact the station at ampb@california.com.
