The head of the airlines trade association is warning that Uncle Sam may have to nationalize the industry. The threat, by Air Transport Association president Carol B. Hallett, may be less dire than it seems. The ATA wants to see its airport security fees reduced, and argues that government mandates are making a recovery impossible. We've all got problems, Carol. If you want to help the ATA in its struggle to remain free and subsidized, write to your representative!
