Romenesko has a headline, "Bartley: Free minds, free markets will take care of woes," which links to a New York Sun article by Seth Lipsky covering WSJ editor Robert Bartley's retirement address.
Lipsky: "After sketching the decisions America made to bring itself back from the abyss, he [Bartley] expressed his conviction that the current crises can be surmounted with fidelity to the principles of free minds and free markets."
But in the printed excerpt of his remarks, Bartley actually uses the editorial credo of his paper, "free markets and free people." Lipsky may have been thinking about a certain other publication's tag line.
If only he had confused the WSJ with Maxim instead:
"Bartley: Sex, Sports, Beer, Gadgets, Clothes, Fitness will take care of woes."

Funny, I thought Maxim's maxim was "Boobies, boobies, beer, boobies, ads with boobies, gadgets, boobies, frat boys can't read anyway, boobies, boobies, and boobies."
